Hiring Tirena Galleon Ship for a Wedding

Tirena can be hire for two types of Wedding Cruise; 2 hours or a full day.

• Half Day Cruise

Taking a half day cruise gives you the opportunity to have this beautiful galleon ship as the backdrop to your wedding ceremony. Tirena is an amazing ship, and this cruise takes you around the Dubrovnik Old City walls giving a spectacular view and atmosphere for your wedding.

The price includes - Rental of the Galleon Ship, Crew, Captain, Fuel and cruise around Dubrovnik's Old City Walls

Price for half day cruise is €2800.

• Full Day Cruise

Take full advantage of Tirena with a full day cruise! With Tirena as your stage for the wedding celebrations you and your guests will be treated like royalty as Tirena makes its way to each of the Elaphiti Islands in turn giving you amazing and unique views of these beautiful islands. You can even stop off and take a look around!

The price includes - Rental of the Galleon Ship, Crew, Captain, Fuel and cruise around the Elaphiti Islands - Kolocep, Lopud and Sipan.

Price for whole day cruise is €3500.

Pirate Wedding Costumes

Make your wedding something completey different and dress up like Pirates and Noblemen of the sea! Of course you don't have to hire from us, but in case any guests don't have the garb hiring a costum costs €150 per person.

Civil Wedding Ceremony, Translator and Documents

Prior to your Civil Ceremony you will need to have several documents translated by the Official Translator. This usually costs about €200 depending on the documents the Registrar requires. You Wedding Planner will detail all the documents you will need translated.

To perform a civil wedding on Tirena the Registrar must come aboard. If the ceremony is performed at the Dubrovnik Port, the cost is likely to be €250, whilst an out-to-sea ceremony will require more of the Registrar's time and so cost up to €1000.

You will also need an Official Translator. Their price range from €40 - €500, depending on how long they will spend with you.

Wedding in Dubrovnik Cathedral

As you are in Dubrovnik already you might chose to have you wedding cermeony in one of Dubrovnik's church or the Dubrovnik Cathedral, and take Tirena out for a half day cruise or full day of fun and Adriatic Sea Cruising!

A wedding ceremony in the Dubrovnik Cathedral or any church in the region costs a flat €300. This fee pays for the cathedral or Church, the ceremony and priest.

Again there are many documents that need to be obtained and your Wedding Planner will guide you through this process.

Wedding Menus on Tirena

Tirena has its own catering facilities and can prepare finger food to full three-course sitdown meals. Tirena can prepare any type of menu, but we've provided some sample menus with prices. You'll notice they are quite inexpensive; thats because you have already paid for the venue, so the price is strictly food and caterig only.

Menus range from €28 - €44 per person.

Flowers and Decorations

Tirena looks beautiful but everything can be enhanced with a few flowers. The cost of flowers is highly variable depending on the season, availability and of course the type of flowers you want. After discuss your wedding ideas and styles with your Wedding Planner they'll contact the florists and find out actual costs for the season.

Simple decorations including a bouque will cost from €400.

Photographer and Videographer

With a stunning ship like Tirena you are bound to want professional photographs to take you back to this amazing voyage year after year! Thankfully Croatia has an abundance of photographers, what with having such a beautiful landscape. Price depends on the length of stay , but a good photographer will cost around €1500 and will include several printed photos of the wedding day and all photos on DVD which you an print when you get home.

Its a good idea to ask the photographer to be with you the whole day so they can catch those precious moments before, during and after the wedding. This does increase the price but memories are priceless! As Tirena makes a stunning backdrop, you might want to arrange an hour or two before of after the ceremonies dedicated to you, Tirena and the photographer.

All photographers have differing styles. If you have one in mind, mention this to your Wedding Planner. If you are unsure, you Wedding Planner will take you through the photogallery to find out which styles you like and select appropriate photographers.

Musicians on Tirena

Musicians can really make this special venue come alive! A wide range of music is possible, from classical musicians, to klapa (group sinigng), rock bands and DJs. If you are looking for a particular type of music or your a bit stuck, discuss this with your wedding planner and they'll introduce you to a number of alternative that will complement your wedding style.

Even with a 2 hour cruise its possible to have musicians on Tirena, but you must be findful of the time it takes for the musicians to get on an off - so a DJ with all his equipment is probably not an option.

Wedding Planner and Booking Your Tirena Wedding

The role of your wedding planner is to help arrange everything you need for your Tirena Wedding. From discussing your iniitial requirements to handling all the arrangements with suppliers, your wedding planner performs the vital task of working with all the suppliers that come together to make your wedding come to life.

Your Wedding Planner is here for you. You can call or contact them by email whenever you have any questions, and they'll often contact you to remind you to get things done, like documents for your civil ceremony.

One very import role of your wedding planner is to assistent you make sure you have all your documentation, whether for a civil or religious ceremony, Croatian laws are complicated to follow.

When you book your Tirena wedding the registration fee is £500/€600.
